My L&L Hawaiian Barbecue journey began in 2006, when I opened my first location in Chula Vista while raising my children and learning the restaurant world from the ground up. Those early years were full of long days, hard lessons, and moments that shaped my resilience and my purpose.

With a father who served in the Navy, the military community has always held a special place in my heart. That connection guided me to open locations at MCAS Miramar, MCAS Yuma, and Navy Base 32nd Street — where I proudly served Marines and Sailors, even opening two stores during the height of COVID. Each base taught me the meaning of service, gratitude, and community in a deeper way.

What started as one store grew into a mission: to bring Aloha, comfort, and heart to every guest we serve.

In 2025, I felt called to expand again. A visit to the SkyDeck at the Del Mar Highlands Town Center sparked something in me, and after months of persistence, I signed the lease for my fifth location — opening May 2026.

Nearly two decades later, my journey continues to be rooted in the same values:
